The Grosshuesch and Barmann Tree

No news articles have been submitted.

This work was started by our ancestors in the mid-1930's. The only name I have is my Aunt Harriet Werner Blank who worked on this. I want to thank Rogene Scheffler Behringer for filling in the missing information on the start of this Grosshuesch Tree. Reverand H. T. Vriesen (b.12/19/1880-d.11/8/1975) started the research when he was in Germany. The Reverand's sister Hulda Vriesen Treick (b.7/10/1883-d.11/2/1977) married Henry Treick (b. 2/7/1878-d. 2/25/1957). Henry was from the family of Elizabeth Grosshuesch (b.11/28/1825) and Heinrich Treick (b.2/18/1820). That is when Grosshuesch Family Tree Started. It was a hard work of love back then and I have tried to continue it because I think it is important to know our ancestry. Back then there were no computers to research names. Rogene Beringer has helped me with the Grosshuesch line and I do appreciate it. I am in my 80's and I have asked one of my Grandson's, Tim Barmann,  to try to carry this on. Thanks to all that have helped me in the past and Thanks to the group that started this,

When I Married Edna Turner I started to compile the Turner/George Family Tree. I do not have much of it recorded because I cannot seem to get the Turners or Georges to supply me with any information. Maybe someone will realize how important this history is and send me some info. My lovely wife , Edna, died after 53 years  of marriage so I no longer have her help in trying to get the updates. My contact is "" Please send me any info you have. Thank you.
